Dansko Shoes
A friend at Bell's told me that they are having a promotion this Saturday, October 3rd and will be running a special on Dansko shoes. I love my clogs so much that found a sandal that I wore all summer. Walking on concrete floors wouldn't be the same without my Danskos!!!

Burlington Carousel Festival
Another year has come and gone and the Burlington Carousel Festival becomes a special weekend in the hearts of many throughout the Southeast. From the artistic gem, the Dentzel Menagerie Carousel located in Burlington’s very own City Park to the great array of Carousel artists and craftsman as well as National Entertainment, the Festival continues to offer families and visitors a memory that will last forever.
Bring a chair and enjoy the sites and sounds of the local music and entertainment. The Mainstage area will feature National Recording Artist Jonathan Singleton and the Grove on Sunday, September 20th as well as many local and regional favorites throughout the weekend. And no one can forget the wonderful aroma of our food court, which is provided by local non-profit agencies from right here within the community.
With the avid community support of local businesses such as MidCarolina Bank, a leading presenter along with the Burlington Recreation & Parks Department, the Festival has grown to be one of the Southeast’s most renowned and respected events.

THANK YOU!
Thanks so much to all that contributed donations and time to the yard sale yesterday. We were able to raise $1000 to go directly to the Boys & Girls Club of Alamance County. It is exciting to see exactly where the money goes. One of the young men that have previously benefited from the program was there yesterday to assist. He is a fine young man and an outstanding example for others. Keep up the good work!
