The Burlington Carousel Festival becomes a special weekend in the hearts of many throughout the Southeast. From the artistic gem, the Dentzel Menagerie Carousel, to the great array of carousel artists and craftsmen as well as national country music entertainment, the Festival continues to offer families and visitors a memory that will last forever.

Hours Changing

Well, I guess it's time to go back to the normal schedule. Starting next week we will open at 10:00 am and close at 5:30 pm. There is one thing that is going to stay permanent...WE WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAYS!!!

Back to School

The children are heading back to school, the May Memorial Library is getting ready for the "Friends of the Library" book sale that starts on September 11th and Bella's House is getting ready for it's yard sale to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Alamance County on Saturday, September 12th!!!

All Gone!

Well, forget about it, all the leather recliners are gone. Even the chair and ottoman. But we did get in a brown leather love seat Saturday afternoon!

Leather, Leather everywhere!!! We have FOUR leather recliners and a leather chair and ottoman. All in excellent condition and even a matching pair of this one photographed.

Benefit Yard Sale for Lake Cammack

Vendors are being solicited to participate in a benefit yard sale for special lake programs will be held outside at
Fairchild Community Center on
Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 6:00am-1:00pm.

Rules & Regulations
Fee $25
Fee includes space to setup and advertising.
Make checks to: City of Burlington. Mail check and registration form:

Registration ends on Wednesday, July 29th.
You must provide your own tables and chairs.
Tents or tarpaulins are welcome as long as they fit within the designated space (20X20).
Set up will start on Friday night from 6pm – 9pm. An attendant will be on the premises over night.
No guns, animals or pornography will be permitted on the premises.
No concessions can be sold except by the City of Burlington.
You will be responsible for removal of trash and left over merchandise.
